Nash's first basketball game
Friday night, I took Nash to go to his first basketball game. When we were out in the hall he heard the buzzer and it scared him. So, I did not think it was going to be a good night. However, when we went into the gym it was so loud in there that the buzzer did not bother him anymore. He loved watching the boys run up and down the the court. He watched the cheerleaders. He got to meet a bunch of Chris's students and see other faculty again. At one point it got a little overwhelming for him but for the most part he really enjoyed it. He liked the Owl and got to touch him (or her). We even got to sit next to dad on the bench. Chris was proud and enjoyed showing him off. At about 7:00, he started getting sleepy and wiping his eyes so we called it a night. I'm sure this was just the first of many more games in the future.

That's great. It wont be long and he'll be yelling, "MISS IT" at the opposing team free throw attempts.
