Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween From Mommy's Little Monkey

This is me trying to scare Nash. He thinks it is funny.

Baby items that Nash and I love

It is amazing all the things they have for babies now to try to make parents and babies lives easier. So I thought I would write about the ones we use and like the most. I don't know how to do the fancy link to the actual item but if you want more details let me know.
The infant soothing swing was/is one of my favorite things. I often say it is where fussy boys go because when Nash would get tired and cranky, I could just put him in there and he would be out. The swing has different positions, settings, and all kinds of music. It also plugs in so you don't have to use a million batteries. There were times when he was a month or two old that he would sleep in there at night because it was so soothing for him.
Speaking of sleeping, I really liked the swaddle blankets with the velcro. I could not ever do it tight enough with blanket and Nash slept better swaddled.
Also, we have the monitor that you can touch the button on top and see him. This was recommeded by a friend and I am glad I have it. Nash's bedroom is at bascially the other end of the house. With the monitor, I have been able to have him in his bed at night from very early on. All I have to do is look at my monitor and I can see him. If I did not have it I don't think I would have been able to put him in his bed so early and keep him there.
The Rainforrest Bouncy Seat is another good item to have. It makes the rainforrest sounds when the baby moves. The waterfall lights up and the animals move up and down. Nash likes to watch them and he sits up to grab the monkey and parrot to try to put it in his mouth. Also, it is where he eats his cereal and fruits and vegies.
The play gym is also neat. It has animals hanging down from the top that Nash likes to hit and at try to put them in his mouth. It also has music that plays when kicks his legs and he is able to do this purposfully. It has a mirror on it that Nash rolls over to see himself. It is also very protable and light weight.
The Bumbo Chair. Nash likes to sit up now and he can do it by himself but then he falls over. This chair lets him sit up without falling over and has been good for pictures.
We have the Chicco car set travel system. I like the looks of it and it is very convenient to get him from the car seat to the stroller becuase it attaches easy. The stroller is very easy to open and close. Also I like that the base has level in it so you can make sure he is in there right. My only complaint is how heavy the car seat is on it's own not to mention with my 16 pounder in it and the stroller does not have much room underneath to put things in. Also the car seat does not fit in the top of shoping carts easily which is kind dangerous anyways.
The Acquarium Bathtub is nice. I like the hammock that it has in it. Nash fit in there great when he was smaller and still does but I feel much safer with him in the hammock then not having that support. I have given him a bath in the sink and hated it. It felt very unsafe and he easily slid around. The bathtub has different stages you can use it with.
The Rainforrest Jumperoo is our new thing. He has just gotten to where he really enjoys it. He hits a all the different toys to make them move. We recently put a blanket under his feet because he was just touching his tippy toes. Now he is able to move and jump a lot better. He gets so worked up in it. It's fun to watch and keeps him occupied.
The bottle warmer is nice too. I bought the cheap brand at Wal-Mart and it works wonderfully. Before the bottle warmer, it was difficult running warm water over his frozen breast milk and getting it to the right tempature. This thing does it quik and is so much easier.
Lansinoh Breast Pump. I wanted the fancy Medela one but did not get it and then did not want to spend that amount of money on it without knowing how breast feeding was going to go. So, I bought this one. It is a double pump and is electric and is over $100 less than the Medela. I have not used the other one but I think mine is just fine. It does the job fine and I just put it in it's own bag. So I am happy with it.

Voting

I know this is a hot topic and I am really not trying to stir up a discussion, just getting my thoughts down. As of yet, I have not voted. I really want to because I think this is an important election and I totally understand that women long before me fought hard for the right to vote and I should not take this right for granted. This was drilled into me in graduate school and it does make perfect sense. I am also not one of those people that think my vote does not matter. However, I am always on the fence when it comes to who I am going to vote for. I think the reason is because I am not 100% crazy about either one. There are things I like and dislike about both. I have my moral convictions and my social convictions. In my field, I see the social problems a lot more than the average Joe does. I get tired of people talking about the lower or middle class being somehow undeserving of "breaks" or seen as not working hard enough to put themselves in the next income bracket. In this country, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Which is just fine for the rich. Me and my husband are both college educated people who by the world's standards are by no means rich. We chose professions to help others and are not the most glorified professions so we choose to do what we feel like we are meant to do rather than what makes us the most money. I don't expect a pat on the back or nothing but I don't see how just because someone makes a lot of money in their business or other highly paid profession, that they deserve the break. To me something is wrong with that. Not mention people who are way less fortunate than most of us are and did not get brought up with the same values or opportunities that other people have. I believe that not all people can just "pull themselves up by their boot straps." The moral convictions are also strong. I think there are things that are proposed that are 100% against the will of God. Conservatives usually stand up for these moral values but if you think about it even though a canadate says they are against one of theses issues they rarely do anything about it. I don't want to get into specifics and stir up anything but this is just what I see and what I think. So, I hope that by November 4th I am able to get my thoughts together and just make a decision and then pray for the person that wins to make good decisions.

Finding a Balance

For me, one of the key things in life is to find a balance. What I mean by that is if you look at all your roles you play in life you can easily put way too much time in one and neglect some of the others. For me, being a mom is a big part of my life right now. I love it but it is also my responsibility right now. If you think about it a 4 month old can't do much for himself (not that I am complaining). I think the balance comes in with my other roles. I am also a wife, I have a career, I have family members, I have other important friendships, and a spiritual life. It is sometimes easy to neglect some of those other roles while I am focused on the main ones. I think it is important to list your priorities. For me, it is being a wife and mother first. I think my spiritual life is also a part of that and is always the bigger picture. I know any of the roles in my life I could get way to obessed with, we all could. Like people who spend all their time working on their career or making money and neglect their family. Or people that spend all their time on being a parent and neglect their spouse. Or even the more controversial topic, people who spend all their time at church activities or "doing good things for others" and neglect their own family and their own spiritual lives. I am not saying that I do this well. For me, it is a struggle. I try to remind myself of what is important and to make sure I am not neglecting anyone of my roles but also putting them in the right order. For me personally, it's like I do less rather than more (if that makes sense). I am so afraid of not being a good wife or mom that I may neglect friendships or other activities. I'd rather focus on the most important things to me. This is not always great either. So, I am trying to look at myself and making sure I am finding a balance in my own life. I think there are times that one area or role needs more attention than others. I think as long as we are aware of it and making an effort that is what matters.

Solid Food

First experience with squash (or any vegetable for that matter).

Nash has had cereal for a few weeks now and this week we started veggies (fruit will be next). I got his first time with the squash on video. It's quite funny. He has had it a second time and did not make as many faces. I think he is going to like it. So, far he has been a good baby as far as eating goes.

milk supply decreasing

This week I have notice my milk supply decreasing. At work I usually pump every two to three hours. Before this week I could pump from 5 to 10 minutes and get 4ozs sometimes more. Which I thought was really good. This week it's like I get 2 to 2 1/2 ozs and then nothing. So, I called the lacatation lady who gave me some advice and some reasons why it may be decreasing. She stated that if I have been stressed that could cause it. I have had some stress this past week more than ususal but I thought it had gotten better. She stated that being on birth control could cause it. I have been on the real birth control pill not the mini pill since he was one month old out of fear of getting pregnant so soon after having him. She said it could be that it is just now in my system enough to cause my milk supply to decrease. She suggested that I should pump or nurse more frequently and for longer giving my brain the message that it needed to make more milk. She told me if that did not work to try to eat more oatmeal or things that contained oatmeal. There is also some kind of tea that you can buy from health food stores to help.
I find this all to be very interesting. I am going to try the pumping thing. I have Friday's off now so I will be home with him to nurse him more. Then I will try the other suggestions. To me this would not be such a big deal. I kind of feel like if I stop making enough milk I could just supplement and then stop when it is time to stop BUT Nash still really perfers to nurse so I don't want to have to stop if he is not ready to yet. I secretly still enjoy it too and am not ready to stop just yet. So we will see.

Nash says....

"I like to stand up and my daddy does not like his picture made!"
"I can sit up for a minute but then I fall over"

"I know, I am chubby but I love my feet"

"This is a sneak peak at me in my Halloween costume. Mommy says I am a monkey all the time"

Bath time surprise

Nash gets his bath is the infant bathtub with the hammock in it still because I feel safer doing it that way. Last night, I had him in the hammock while I was pouring the water in. I smelled something awful. His poots lately smell like the real deal so much so I check his diaper a million times but there is nothing in there. So, I assumed that is what I smelled because I did not see anything at that point. Then there were things floating in the water and a green pile between his legs and in the hammock. I have heard other's stories of their kids pooping in the bath tub but this was my first and (got my fingers crossed) only experience. He gave me no warning. One minute he was fine laying in the tub and the next minute I had a big mess to clean up. Dad was about to leave to go to a thing at school so I had him give me a bunch of paper towels. Dad just looked and laughed basically saying "good luck with that". It ,needless to say, was a mess getting him out of the tub, cleaning up the tub, and then still having to give him a bath. O the joys of motherhood!

Nash's first basketball game

Friday night, I took Nash to go to his first basketball game. When we were out in the hall he heard the buzzer and it scared him. So, I did not think it was going to be a good night. However, when we went into the gym it was so loud in there that the buzzer did not bother him anymore. He loved watching the boys run up and down the the court. He watched the cheerleaders. He got to meet a bunch of Chris's students and see other faculty again. At one point it got a little overwhelming for him but for the most part he really enjoyed it. He liked the Owl and got to touch him (or her). We even got to sit next to dad on the bench. Chris was proud and enjoyed showing him off. At about 7:00, he started getting sleepy and wiping his eyes so we called it a night. I'm sure this was just the first of many more games in the future.

Flu Shot-to give or not to give???

Okay, at Nash's doctor's appointment yesterday the doctor said at his six month check up that he needs a flu shot. When I told people at work about it they were all polite but basically said "don't give that baby a flu shot". Now I am perplexed. I am the kind of person that I go with whatever is "recommended". If the doctor says that he needs a flu shot, I assume I need to give him a flu shot. I was also scared from this news story I saw on the Today Show where a little girl died very quickly from the flu and that pediatricians are recommending kids from 6months to 5 years old get the flu shot. Apparently, when kids or small children get the flu they can get bad sick.
The other argument is that he is just a baby. He has to have so many shots why add another that is not necessary and you don't even know if it will be effective at him not getting the flu. He is not around other kids much, because my mom and mother-in-law keep him at home, therefore he has a lower chance of being exposed. Also, there is a lot of speculation that all the vaccines kids get cause autism and other serious problems. Also, the flu shot itself can make him feel bad.
My only experience with the flu shot was last year. I got it while I was pregnant because it was recommended that pregnant women get the flu shot because it is dangerous for them to have the flu for obvious reasons. It did hurt like crazy because it was in the muscle and I was sore for a couple of days. However, I did not feel sick from it. With that said, I will probably get one again this year because it is recommended that people who are around babies and little kids get the flu shot so you don't pass it on.
I guess my fear is that if he does not get it and then he gets the flu I would feel awful even though it is not 100% guarantee. That is why I am getting the shot. So I truly don't know what I am going to do. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or opinions on this topic and I am going to keep researching the subject before his sixth month appointment.

4 Month Check up

Nash had his 4 month check up this morning. He wieghs 16lbs and 3oz. He is 25 and 1/2 inches long. He is still in the 75th percentile and he is growing at the same rate. His shots were horrible. He had to have 4, 2 in each leg. I was optimistic today thinking "he's bigger now he will probably do better than last time". I stood away while the nurse and my mom held him down. I don't want him to associate me with the shots. The first one went in and he screamed so loud and could not catch his breath, then there were three more!!! Shots are just awful. I don't understand why they have to give him so many at once. I would hate to have four shots in a roll like that. His face was beat red, he had a pitiful cry, and he just wanted to be held with his paci. That is where I come in! Ok, enough about the shots.
I had my list of questions that I had for the doctor and was surprised about the answer to some of them. I told her how his sleep pattern is never the same. The longest stretch of time we have had lately was about 4 hours. When my husband was gone about a month ago, all week he slept 7-8 hours straight. She said from 12 to 6 to not get him out of the bed. If he wakes up crying I can go pat him or give him his paci to comfort him but not to pick him up. It's called the "crying it out method". She said at his age and weight. He should be able to go that 6 hours, preferably sleeping without needing to eat. In a way it makes me sad because of the guilt of not picking him up when he is crying like I have been used to. Another way it makes me relieved that I don't have to get up with him so much. I talked to a friend of mine that uses the same doctor. She said at their four month appointment that is what she said and it worked great. Her son started sleeping through the night fairly soon after starting this. So, I've got my fingers crossed! I don't know about starting it tonight though because he is so fussy after his shots. Maybe the Tylenol will help him sleep and I won't have to worry about it.
The other big news is that we are going to start fruits and vegtables soon. I have been giving him rice cereal. We are about to start oatmeal. Then in a few days we will do fruits and veges with cereal added. It will be interesting to see which ones he likes.
I also asked about breast feeding because I wanted to stop around 6 months. One she encouraged me to get a flu shot because even though he can't have the vaccine now he will get it through me. Then at six months (his next appt) he needs to get the shot. She suggested that I continue breast feeding through March!!! She said that if I stop at six months that will be around the bad months for getting sick and he would be better immune if I continue to breast feed. She said by then he will only be feeding 4 or 5 times a day. I don't know what I am going to do about. Personally, I think 6 months is pretty good to have breast fed. Nine months sounds a little old to be still breast feeding. I realize some mom's breast feed until their kids are toddlers but that's not for me. I may do a compromise and pump but give it to him by bottle. We'll see.

On a serious note:treat people with kindness

A combination of things have tugged at my heart this week hence this post. Sunday, Bro. Mark talked about how we should be an example of Christ everywhere we go and he qouted some statistic that I can't remember right not but basically most poeple you run across in a given day you will never see again. Then on KLove, they were talking about how we should treat others with kindness because you don't know what people are going through. In my job, I hear stories all the time of people who are suffering from all sorts of things (illness, tragedy, losing someone they care about, abuse, neglect, addictions, financial difficuties, not knowing where their next meal is coming from, etc.) It breaks my heart. I had someone tell me that they don't go to church because they don't have right kind of clothes or don't feel like they fit in. Once again, my heart breaks. I am saying this as much to you as I am myself. If someone is rude to you or cuts you off or gives you a dirty look as tempting as it is to get angry and say or do something back. You never know what they have going on in their life. Try to remember that and act out of love. I think that is what we were called to do and will be a greater example of Christ than anything else. Just our day to day actions that let others know that you care. I know because I see it all the time. There are a lot of people out their hurting. People that we run into in our communties. The least we can do is to be kind.

The weekend

Last weekend was nice. Friday night, Chris and I had a "date night". It was our first in a couple of months. We went to the Imax and saw Eagle Eye. It was the first time I have been to the Imax part. The movie was action packed. The screen at the Imax is huge and the sound system is really loud. We sat about three or four rolls from the top and I still felt like I could not see anything. When the fast actions scenes are taken place, you feel like you can't see it all and you are right in the middle of it. Next time we will probably sit on the last roll.

It was nice to get out of the house and do something together. When we were dating we went to the movies a lot. We had a good time. On the way home it was only like 9 but it felt like midnight because I have not had much sleep and have not been out in a while. Another weird thing that happened, was on the way home I was driving all crazy and felt like I was drunk (never been drunk in my life). I was explaining to Chris how I felt and that I the oncoming lights were blinding me as he noticed I was driving weird. He said "it is called night blindness". I got my out my glasses that I never wear and then was fine. Weird. I think that maybe pregnancy messed with my eye sight.

Saturday was nice too. I love Saturday's. They have become my favorite day of the week. I love them because I am a home body. I like to be at home especially our new home with my family. I stayed in PJ's and slept some while Nash was taking his morning nap, where normally I would be on my way to work. I did some cleaning which always makes me feel good. I don't know that is that I like cleaning or that I like the result. I dusted, vacuumed the carpet, and tile. I can't stand to see my coffee table or other furniture with dust on it. Makes me feel dirty. I love my carpet freshly vacuumed. I am not a neat freak. I probably could have and should have done more but what I did made me feel good. My husband is a big Rock Band fan. He was upstairs playing and wanted me and Nash to come. So he got me to play the base guitar (which is the easiest). I had Nash in my lap and we played the guitar together. He liked the colors on the screen and holding onto the guitar while I played it. I did good on the easy setting using three buttons and did one good time on medium using four buttons. The next song on medium I failed miserably and gave up. Those games are meant for people with small hands. I can barley have my fingers on the three keys and can't make them go on all four.

BIG NEWS: MY HUSBAND CHANGED HIS FIRST DIAPER. I know what your thinking our baby is four months and he just changed his first diaper and Yes you are correct but I could not be happier. It was only a pee diaper but we are still very proud of this accomplishment. It brings peace of mind if he needed to change him while I was gone or was busy he could. I think in a way he is proud of himself too. Now he knows it is not so bad and he is fully capable. We won't even get into Nash's new awful cereal dirty diapers. Even I did not want to change it!

I went to the store which I much prefer to do on Saturday afternoons than Sunday. I like like to get it out of the way and it is not so crowded. We did watch some football which I really do like college football and another reason I like Saturdays so much. Another reason, naps with Nash. I take him to our bed when he is tired and we lay down together. It is the best sleep I get and it is so sweet to watch him sleep.

Sunday was good too. Church was good. I enjoyed the sermon and I always feel challenged to do better in certain areas. We are in our new building. We had some visitors which is always good to see. I've decided to take Nash in the service for the singing because he likes music and that way he gets exposed to it more. He did enjoy it. He stood up on my lap watching. We had some really good special music. Then he got sleepy about the time for the sermon so I put him down in the nursery bed and he slept through the rest. People at church just eat Nash up. One lady kind of scares Chris and I. We know if he ever comes up missing, she will be the first person we look for. He is the only baby at church. Everyone talks about how cute he his, how big he is getting, and I get "what are you feeding him" or "he doesn't miss a meal" all the time. As you can see from his pictures he is a big healthy boy!

After church we ate at my mom's house. The food was good. She let their dog out. A 70lb 7 month old Golden Retriever. He is the biggest puppy I have ever seen. Nash was tired so he was not so crazy about him. I was playing mother hen because one paw on him would have really hurt him. However, my husband LOVED him. He bear hugged him, played with him, let him lick his face. He was a like a little boy with a new puppy. I did not think I was going to get him to leave. It just reminded me of one of the things I LOVE about my husband. He is so much fun and has a kid like heart sometimes!

So all and all a good weekend. A coworker of mine sings that song "living for the weekend" and in my case it seems so true!

4 month pictures

Breastfeeding

Prepregnancy, I thought breastfeeding was for those "supermoms" who stayed at home and did everything perfect. I definitely did not think it was for me. I was annoyed with moms talking about how much they loved breastfeeding. When I got pregnant, I thought man it would be so easy just to do formula and not mess with it but as I started reading pregnancy books and magazines and had friends who were pregnant I thought I should at least try it. My idea was I will just try it and see how it goes. If it goes good, fine. If not, fine. At least I could say I tried. I really wasn't expecting to be able to do it (for some reason).
Well, Nash was born and if you know his birth story I was so out of it that day BUT it went great. He had no trouble latching on. I had no trouble with it. In fact, I vaguely remember the lactation lady saying that Nash and I were a perfect match and I was meant to breastfeed. She said something about our anatomy being a good match. It probably was a good thing I was sedated because I would have probably had anxiety about it and over thought the whole thing.
So needless to say, I kept doing it. The day my milk came in, I was in so much pain that I was nauseated. This only encouraged me to do it because I thought if I have to let this dry up it is going to hurt a lot worse then just going ahead and feeding him. Yes, it did hurt for the first week or so when he latched on. In fact, the way I knew he was on was when I would cringe with pain. What I liked about it early on was when I was so tired from lack of sleep, I did not have to go get a bottle ready. His hunger was met instantly.
At about two weeks when I had been up every two sometimes one hour feeding him and severely sleep deprived I began to question if it was worth it and thought wouldn't it be nice if someone else could feed him and I could get some more sleep. In fact, I called a friend of mine in tears who had not too long ago gone through the same thing. She validated my feelings and said try letting someone else feed him what you've pumped with a bottle. This was my saving grace. That night Chris fed him the bottle and he did good with it. I think it was a psychological thing that I knew if I needed to leave him I could and he would be fine. It made me feel not so trapped. So, I have been breastfeeding since. It is not all wonderful. It is a hassle sometimes to have to pump at work, or not be able to go anywhere for more than a few hours without pumping or having to feed him. I was at first real self-conscious about what to do in public. Normally, if there is a private place I feed them there. However, I bought one of those shield things and it is wonderful. I don't have to worry wherever I go I can be covered up. Also, I got where I didn't care as much and I have become one of those moms that used to annoy me when they talked about how great breastfeeding is.
We have had some trouble though. When I went back to work, Nash got smart enough (what the nurse said) to realize that breast milk comes from mom and not the bottle. So it was a hassle getting him to take the bottle when just a few weeks prior he did great with it. I was so worried that he was going to starve. He has had it with a spoon, a syringe, and even a sippy cup. He has gotten better now with the bottle but sometimes still does the spoon.
With all that said, I know my experience is not everyone's and I know people who have had a tough time with breastfeeding for various reasons. If I had any trouble at all, I know I would not have stuck with it. However, it works for us. I won't do it forever. I am surprised I have made it this far. I was hoping to get to 6 months. That would be a major accomplishment to me. With Nash starting cereal now, I am now starting to think when am I going to start weaning him off? How is that going to go? I don't want it to be painful. So once again I take my advice from people who have been there and done that. Slowly is the way to go from what I hear.

Nash rolled over

Yesterday, Nash rolled over. My mother-in-law was watching him. She said he was on his back on a blanket on the floor. She went to another room and came back and he was on his stomach. So, she had him do it again a few times I think. I was a little sad that I missed the first time. He has been getting on his side for quite a while but has not until yesterday made it to his stomach. He was kind enough to show me and his dad his new trick when we got home. It is insane how proud you are of you child rolling over! He is such a big boy. Before much longer he will be crawling! This Friday he will be four months old. Time is flying!

Random things I have learned since becoming a mom

All the cliches you hear while pregnant or before are true. For example, "sleep while you can" or "sleep when the baby sleeps". Before I had Nash, I had to have at least 8 hours sometimes more like 9 or 10. Now I am amazed that I can function with such little sleep the last almost 4 months. (notice I said that I can function not how great I can function). I am also amazed at how much better I feel when I even have a one hour nap or a longer stretch of sleep at night (meaning 4 or 5 hours) vs. 2 hours really awesome to have a 6-8 hours stretch. This weekend I took a 2 hour nap with Nash and felt like superwoman afterwards. I cleaned a lot more than I would normally and felt like I had a whole night's sleep. I was almost giddy. On the flip side of that, little sleep really affects you. I say and do the craziest things sometimes. Yesterday, I put my fudgesicle in the fridge that I was going to save for later. This morning I put my nursing bra (the sport kind) on backwards and did not notice it until I went to feed Nash. Chris will be able to testify to other crazy things I have said and done. It's like it is hard to get your thoughts together. You know what you are trying to say but it does not come out right.

Another one is "your body will never be the same afterwards". I am proud that I only have a few pounds to lose to be at my prepregnancy weight and my little guy is almost 4 months. BUT it's different, I am not sure how it just is. In some ways I know how just don't want to get to graphic on here.

"Your life will never be the same". I am sure there is more for me to learn on this as he grows and time passes but I already know this to be true. Not necessarily in a bad way all the time. Sure I would love to have a full night's sleep, sleep in, or not have to worry about anyone but myself from time to time BUT I would not change it for anything. That is another way you will never be the same. I really did not put myself as number one before but now I am even further on the list. The men in my life (Chris and Nash) are my world!

"You never thought you could love someone you just met so much" So true. This new person already has your whole heart from day one. It's wild! I get so emotional about him in no time flat. I am even stingy on who I give his pictures too because I want them all. When he has that pitiful cry with his lip quivering, it breaks my heart.

People say in regards to going back to work "it gets easier". That first day was horrible. I cried when I was with him, I cried when I left, I cried when I get to work, you get the picture. It is easier in just that it gets routine. Don't get me wrong. There are many days if not every day. I wish I could just be home with him but it somehow does get easier and you don't think about it as much. A lady at work said it best. I did not understand at first but I get it now. "It gets easier but not better".

I am sure there are more but I think this enough for now. I guess there is a reason cliches become cliches.

I've decided to blog

I like reading other's people's blogs and think I have a lot to say sometimes and maybe this will be just the place to do it. I've decided to use the address Nash's mommy because that is a lot of what I do talk about and all that seems to be on my mind these days. So, this may just be me talking about being a mommy and all the ins and outs that go with it. I also take a lot of pictures so look out. You may get tired of hearing about Nash. I do think that motherhood, so far, has been life changing and this will give me an outlet for it. I am sure from time to time there will be other issues that come up that I would like to talk about. Even if no one else reads it, I think I will enjoy it. So I guess we will see.
