Nash's new swing set

Nash's swing set was quite a big project. It basically came in three big compact boxes of all parts. No already assembled pieces, no pre-drilled holes, no marked wood, no seperated pieces, just a bunch of pieces, screw and bolts. So it took his Poppy two full days to get it put together with some help from Chris and Mimi.
This project started Saturday morning and went well into Sunday night. Nash's Poppy had knee surgery today so he was wanted to get it finished before then and before Nash's birthday.

Finally all put together at roughly 10:30ish Sunday night.

Nash got to see it along the way but got to play on it this afternoon with it all put together. He loves it. I would have to say the glider is Nash's favorite part. It is the first thing he goes to.

He also figured out how to go up the big ladder tonight which made me super nervous because the steps are far apart for him to climb but he manages. I had to help him and kind of show him the first time but then he could do it himself. He was quite proud of himself for being able to get up there by himself.

He also likes going down the slide and did so repeatedly.

I am super excited about the swing set too. I know it is something that Nash will play on for years to come and will be fun for him to do with his friends and cousins when they come over.
