22 Months

Nash is 22 months old today. He is amazing and is growing up so fast. Some of his favorite things at the moment are Mickey Mouse, cars and trucks (he differentiates between little trucks, big trucks, and big big trucks), repeating what he hears, singing and dancing, suckers, tractors, fruit snacks, airplanes (which he calls pairplanes), the alphabet (he knows his letters, upper and lower case), wagon rides, playing outside, soccer balls, all things basketball, he likes to tell you what color things are i.e. red ball, counting, going "fast", coloring, and saying "ready, set, GOOOOO". His vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds in the last couple of months. I am amazed at the words he knows and says.

He is a lot of fun and generally in a good mood and gets excited over everything. For example, when we got home from Chicago Nash met us at the airport. After the initial hug and welcome home from him we were waiting on our bags and he super duper excited over the bags falling out of the shoot onto the conveyor belt. He had people there laughing because when a bag fell he would say "WOW!!! blue bag, WOW!!! red bag" etc. It was quite funny and super cute. However, he has had his melt downs and temper tantrums lately as well. Most of the time it is due to having to come in from outside when he is not ready or when he is really tired. I see the terrible two's in my future real soon. Speaking of the terrible two's, his birthday is coming up all too soon. I have already booked a local play place and hoping all his friends can come play with him for his birthday. It's only 2 months away.
